CS Student | Avid Traveler | Basketball Fan | Part-Time DJ

Currently, I'm studying CS at Cornell University. This portfolio not only contains my projects/experiences but is also a symbol of my growth.

As a student and aspiring developer, I believe my most valuable asset is my abilty to grasp new technologies and produce functional projects/features in a short time-frame. My projects and diverse work experiences are a product of exactly that.

Desktop Platformer + Rhythym Game

HeartBeat

Led a group of 5 programmers & 3 designers as the technical product manager of desktop-based platformer & rhythm game, HeartBeat. Laid out the software architecture following a Model-View-Controller pattern, libGDX engine, & Java; produced over 50k lines of code. Implemented level editor, AI-powered enemies, rhythm engine, physics model, obstacles, & input + movement controller, among others.

Generative AI Web-App

GeAIco: Geico AI Assistant

Proof of concept AI-Powered assistant for Geico insurance agents. As part of Geico's OpenAI Hackathon, I, along with 5 developers, designed, developed, and presented GeAIco in a week. The goal of GeAIco and the hackathon was to develop an application that reduces time and energy insurance agents spent on common tasks, while maintaining the quality of human agents. Core functionalities include AI Powered Q&A, Email Draft Assistance, Email Reply Assistance, and Virtual Chat Summarization.

Spotify Music Recommender

Content-based machine learning recommendation algorithm that uses Spotify API & cosine similarity to suggest songs based on playlists. Preprocessed dataset of over 230k songs using Pandas, identifying key audio features & vectorizing tracks to improve algorithm results. Optimized model to produce recommendations at ~80% accuracy rate compared to Spotify’s recommendations through parameter tuning. Integrating ML model into a web-app using React, Typescript & Flask to provide authenticated users with personalized recommendations

Fitness Tracker

App to monitor health/fitness: features include weight tracking, health file storage via S3 buckets, user competitions, & email notifications via SendGrid. Leveraging flask to build schemas & Rest API while testing endpoints w/ Postman; created relational SQL database with SQLAlchemy. Implementing HTTP token authentication via cookies for user authentication; containerizing & deploying server using Docker & Heroku
